TIPS FOR SURVIVING MISSOURI OUTDOORS

TIP #1

Why suffer needlessly!
Oak-N-Ivy BRAND®
tecnu® Outdoor Skin Cleanser

We have had great success against Poison Ivy with tecnu®, used before going home or later to ease the itch or stop the spread. Wow! Sure, it's still there but nothing like it used to be. Stops it spreading. Use it whenever it itches (Call a doctor if it looks really bad, tho.)

Check it out at their home page: http://www.teclabsinc.com
"...his wife accidentally discovered that Tecnu would cleanse poison plant oils after exposure to poison oak and ivy. Today tecnu ® Oak-N-Ivy Brand® Outdoor Skin Cleanser is standard issue in first aid kits of outdoor professionals across the country..."
Finally available at some local stores (Walgreens or call 1-800-ITCHING for a store nearest you). They got this one right.

TIP #2

EAT RIGHT!

LOCAL BARBQ IN AREA within 5 miles (Not a paid ad, we like his place even tho' they are closed on Mondays)

CB JOE's. Across from Saint Francois State Park on Hwy 67 (South from us). More pricey than fast food but it's a real personal restaurant and can be an oasis for the parched and weary. They also make their own barbq sauce in mild medium and hot. Make sure you order the fries if you can, chips don't do it. Bottomless sodas. How America used to be. ( Click for Area Map)

FRIED FISH in the Area (The Walleye Shack ) (not a paid ad either, but we like their fish.)

[Editors Note: The Walleye Shack closed and went away. If you know of anyone who can pick up where they left off, please contact us. We now have a 6 1/2 million dollar highway interchange with a much better location than before.]
