1914 All-Oak House
OAK: An amazing material, oak. The 3/4" X 6" siding was sawn from local trees. It has only been replaced on the
south side where direct sunlight pitted it through too deeply after 70 years.
ROOF: The roof is the original galvanized steel. The front porch addition in 1986 continued
the roof in matching detail.
This house has been in continous occupation since
1914, 95+ years ago.
